Transfer the boiled fruits into a seive to drain the water.
Pour the boiled palm fruits in a mortar and pound with the pestle
Pound and turn the content of the mortar until the boiled ripe skin comes off the kernel.
Scoop out the pounded fruit mix from the mortar into a big pot.
Add mild hotwater to the mix and sieve to remove the large fibres and palm kernel. What is left behind is the banga used to prepare the Banga soup.
