Kitchen wipes are soft tissue, fabric-like cleaning aid for removing dirts and germs present on surfaces by rubbing them against the surfaces.

Kitchen wipes are pre-soaked with cleaning and antiseptic substances before they are packed in flexible nylon or plastic containers.

These dirt and germs removal substances in kitchen wipes make  the wipes fit for cleaning surfaces especially in the kitchen. No doubt, the paper kitchen wipes are very useful but they are used as first cleaning aid  and still not as effective as kitchen wipes.

Some kitchen wipes are reusable after use while some are discarded after one or two times of use.

To use kitchen wipes, soak the kitchen wipes slightly or use directly if freshly taken from the pack . Cape your vegetables and fruits into them then transfer into a bag like Ziploc and store in the refrigerator. This simple process  will help you preserve the freshness of your fruits and vegetables for an extended time. You can use same method to preserve your herbs.

Cleaning dishcloths

1. Pre-soak blemished or indeed unclean cleaning cloths in a bucket of cold water holding a couple of capfuls of household bleach.

2. Clean the cloths carefully using water.

3. Place them on a warm cycle in the washing machine.

4. Hang to get dehydrated outside if you can.

Blend together the vinegar, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, and water in a small bowl. You can add quite a few droplets of indispensible oil to the wipes, which engraves the cleaner and enhances its antibacterial powers.

You can launder bath and kitchen towels at the same time, but this should be done at a higher temperature (60 °C or above) so as to kill germs. It is also good to distinct your towel types and wash them as an unlike load to one another to be on the not dangerous side.

The major reason of washing and cleaning food contact surfaces is to remove food (nutrients) that is essential in bacteria growth, and to destroy those bacteria that are present. Leave the clean, disinfected equipment and surfaces drain dry and keep dry to prevent bacteria growth.

To support the prevention of the spread of germs, you should change out your kitchen towels at least one time in a week, but if possible every few days. To take the highest precaution, make use of your towels one time and then toss them into the washer and get a new one.

Some brands of kitchen wipes are soaked in a mixture of detergents and high concentration of ethanol , hydrogen peroxide, or isopropyl alcohol while some kitchen wipes brands contain only alcohol-based constituents antiseptics alone. However, ingredients can be made from natural products or synthetic substances . It’s recommended to use ethanol based kitchen wipes for preserving your fruits,  vegetables and herbs in the refrigerator.
